The high-energy German Biergarten Hofbräuhaus serves huge beer steins, “shot-skis”, and even spankings with a wooden paddle to go along with your drink.
This bar draws inspiration from old-world taverns and the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich, home of Oktoberfest. Enjoy a lively atmosphere of nightly music from a live band including alphorn, accordion, and keyboard players that play traditional tunes.
Enjoy a liter-sized beer stein, take a shot-ski with a few friends, and even choose to receive a spanking with a wooden paddle, if you’re into that… Order traditional Bavarian beers or seasonal brews. Spirits, liquor, and specialty cocktails are available to order too.
Hofbräuhaus is a community-style bar. Sit at long wooden tables next to strangers, who might become new acquaintances. The Biergarten is inside but gives the illusion that it’s outdoors. It’s complete with trees, twinkling lights, blue sky overhead, and a white marble fountain in the center.
In addition to drinks, games are always a part of the weekend festivities. Play a round of beer pong, cornhole, and musical chairs with your friends and fellow bar mates.
Don’t forget to grab a bite to go with your beer. Try traditional German dishes like pork shank, baked soft pretzels, potato pancakes, sausages, and more from the full menu. They’ll also be serving a Thanksgiving feast which includes Butternut Squash Cream Soup, fried Brie cheese, turkey with all of the classic fixins, Apple Bread Pudding, and Glühwein, spiced wine.
Hofbräuhaus is located at 4510 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169 between The Strip and UNLV. The Biergarten is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 to 11 pm.
